There are two very important services coming up at St. Paul’s.  On Sunday, November 22 at 10AM we shall observe Fr Tom Holliday’s last day with us.  This will be followed by a reception in his honor in Fleming Hall.

On November 29, the first Sunday in Advent, we will do the same for our new rector Rev James McCaskill.

I urge all of you to attend these services and give your thanks to Fr Tom and your support to Fr James.

Rev. David C. Jones, Suffragan Bishop of Virginia, will be making his official visitation to St. Paul’s this Sunday, October 18th.  Bishop Jones will celebrate the Eucharist at 2:00 pm.  A full meal will be served in Fleming Hall following the service.  Please plan on attending this special event. 

Because of the bishop’s visitation, there will be NO morning services for St. Paul’s this Sunday.

James McCaskill has accepted the call to be the next rector of St. Paul’s.  Fr. McCaskill joins us from St Mary Magdalene, Lundwood, England, where he has served as vicar since 2004. Fr. McCaskill’s first service at St. Paul’s will be on the first Sunday of Advent, November 29.
